The result is a product that feels both effortless and exacting—an instrument of musical truth shaped by experience, not excess.

Form, Function, Fidelity
The Madison Streamer represents Wattson Audio’s most complete expression of digital playback and control. Designed and engineered entirely in Switzerland by the same team behind CH Precision, it embodies a philosophy where technology serves musical emotion with effortless grace.
At its core lies a powerful DSP-based DAC architecture that merges advanced digital signal processing with a meticulously executed analog output stage. Supporting both network and S/PDIF digital sources, the Madison delivers balanced and single-ended outputs for seamless integration with any system—whether driving a power amplifier directly or partnering with a preamplifier or integrated design. The result is sound that combines precision and warmth, structure and soul—a compact yet uncompromising component that reveals music with striking realism and fluidity.

Refining the Volume Control
Developed in collaboration with CH Precision, Wattson’s new digital volume control was created specifically for the Madison platform. Replacing the former LEEDH implementation, it’s a fully in-house design shaped by a balanced process of mathematics, measurement, and critical listening. At its core, a 64-bit digital attenuator preserves even the smallest signal changes with absolute integrity. Operating in 0.5 dB steps verified to within ±0.1 dB, it maintains exceptional accuracy and linearity by minimizing truncation and rounding errors.
Existing Lounge Edition Madison Streamers will receive this new digital volume control via firmware update, ensuring every owner benefits from the same precision, refinement, and performance as the latest model.
Engineered for Musical Realism
At the heart of the Madison’s digital architecture lies the Wattson Spline filter—a proprietary algorithm derived from the same design principles used in our cost-no-object CH Precision siblings. Optimized for time-domain accuracy, it minimizes both pre- and post-ringing, preserving transient integrity and musical flow. While other manufacturers offer multiple selectable filters, Wattson perfected a single, purpose-built implementation—one that faithfully reproduces the timing and texture of real instruments.
The Madison supports PCM playback up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD up to 256x (11.2896 MHz) via network streaming, and PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz through its S/PDIF input. These specifications aren’t about numbers for their own sake—they translate directly into smoother gradients, greater dynamic headroom, and a more lifelike rendering of musical space. Its refined power architecture employs premium-grade capacitors and enhanced supply capacitance to reduce noise and stabilize voltage for superior tonal balance and low-level detail.

Two Finishes, One Madison
For the first time, the Madison Streamer is offered in two distinct finishes: Light Gray and a new Dark Gray. This expanded palette reflects Wattson Audio’s commitment to precision and visual harmony, allowing the Madison to integrate seamlessly into a wider range of interiors. Light Gray recalls the elegance of the former Lounge Edition, while Dark Gray preserves the timeless purity of the original design. Both deliver the same exceptional performance and craftsmanship—now with a choice of aesthetic expression.

Nothing Without Purpose
Delivering extraordinary musical performance in a compact, accessible form demands precision, discipline, and intent. The Madison Streamer embodies this philosophy—every element exists to serve the music, nothing more and nothing less. Its design reflects Wattson Audio’s belief that true engineering excellence lies in focus: selecting only what enhances fidelity, executing every detail with purpose, and eliminating anything that does not. This clarity of vision transforms technology into an instrument of musical truth.
Equally important is Wattson Audio’s commitment to responsibility and longevity in design. The Madison Streamer is crafted from durable, sustainably sourced materials, chosen for their acoustic integrity and minimal environmental impact. Its precision-machined aluminum chassis is built to endure decades of use, both structurally and sonically. Complementing that physical endurance, the firmware platform is fully updatable and developed entirely in-house, allowing new features to be added quickly and efficiently—such as Wattson’s early implementation of Qobuz Connect. This combination of enduring construction and evolving software protects the owner’s investment while minimizing environmental waste—extending Wattson Audio’s philosophy of purity beyond sound, toward sustainability and permanence.
