Which device model did you choose?

Emerson ANALOG

Why did you make this choice and what were your expectations?

I wanted a streamer to connect to Qobuz in Hi-Res to replace a Yamaha WXC-50. After comparing my set-up with a Cambridge CXN v2, the choice of the Emerson ANALOG was obvious for the quality of its reproduction which seems to me much more precise, clear and neutral than that of the CXN.

What are the results?

It is always a renewed pleasure to listen to my Emerson, whatever the music repertoire, on this setup which offers a precise and neutral reproduction, with incredible highs, a silky presence in the midrange and extremely well controlled dry bass.
